Emily the owner of Emy Delights & Bites, began the business to educate the public about food allergy awareness and how delicious foods made without the top major allergens can taste. Emily has been passionate about making a difference and baking since she was a little girl. She began her dessert career at a young age, going to a tech high school for baking and pastry and then graduating from the Culinary Institute of America with a Bachelors degree. Her interest in food allergy awareness began with a journey of veganism and other eating restrictions.
There is no reason for anyone to ever feel left out! Emily saw a need for delicious allergy friendly treats that everyone would love. She wants to make it a little easier for others with any kind of eating restriction. The goal of the business is for everyone to be able to enjoy healthy safe foods and desserts.
Everything is made WITHOUT the top major allergens (soy, wheat, gluten, dairy, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame or mustard). They are 100% vegan and have no artificial colors or preservatives. Only sweetened with raw agave, pure maple syrup or nurate sugars.
We use top ingredients to secure your safety, buying from top companies that are also allergy friendly. Our chocolate is from enjoy life and some other top brands we use are good karma, bobs red mill, nuts.com. (Nuts.com has separate lines for all seeds and dried fruit to pervert cross contact.) All ingredients used are vegan and do NOT contain gluten, wheat, soy, daily, eggs, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame or mustard.
Emy Delights & Bites also tries to be as sustainable as possible. Using ONLY compostable take out containers and utensils. Using as much eco-friendly products as we can afford.
